ROADTRIP SERIES

Cotswolds

We’ve teamed up with Tom Howard to travel some epic roads in Cotswolds. Scroll to see and hear all about it.

They say the end is nigh for internal combustion, and so in a celebration of all things petrol flavoured, we took the RML SWB on an epic Cotswolds Road Trip.

Featuring a naturally aspirated Ferrari V12, mated to a bespoke open-gate manual with looks that echo the grand tourers of the 50’s and 60’s, the RML SWB is the ultimate way to take in the honey coloured stone and idyllic scenery. Even better then, that we’ve got three pedals to play with in my Piloti Slipstream (which also has the perfect shape to keep the car right where you want it!)

Now it'd be easy to curl up in front of the open fireplace and listen to the rain outside (it’s pouring down!), but the appeal of heading out on our road trip is far more appealing!

"  best visited early in the morning before everyone has made their day plans "

The Cotswolds has some epic roads, best visited early in the morning before everyone has made their day plans - and so we headed out early and set the destination for one of the best roads we know - The A44, Five-Mile Drive through to Fish Hill (The Cotswolds answer to the Stelvio Pass) - to really get a chance to experience the SWB and that Ferrari V12 in all it’s glory.

After a breakfast stop at The Lygon Arms in Broadway, we jumped back in the car, and headed for coffee (essential road trip juice) and for the best coffee in The Cotswolds, you’ll want to be in Stow. The A436 connecting road is a masterpiece, and carves its way through the open countryside like it was crafted by nature.

Back on the road, it’s time to stock up on the essentials for a dinner worthy of our road trip - and for that, Daylesford Farm ticks the boxes. Meats, cheeses, and a bottle of red for later, with a car park full of Range Rovers' and Bentaygas’. We fit right in then!
