We’ve teamed up with George Colbeanu to travel some epic roads in London. Scroll to see and hear all about it.
The journey started in the heart of London, in the concrete and glass jungle that is Canary Wharf. Some call it the financial capital of the world, others call it the best place for listening to your cars exhaust bounce off skyscrapers.
It is early morning, around 8:30am when we started our drive down towards Royal Tunbridge Wells, a beautiful old town located in the Southern region of England named Kent. It is known for its beautiful parks, historic sites. The city centre can be busy but if you are lucky, it is a wonderful place to capture a couple of shots of your car while at it. After our coffee break has come to an end and my right foot was curiously itchy for the throttle, we continued the journey south towards Beachy Head which is located on the outskirts of Eastbourne. If you are an avid driver and love a good, windy, country road to push the cars dynamic limits then the drive down the A267 and A22 heading into Eastbourne will definitely warm up your heart rate. I say warm-up because once you reach the “Beachy Head Road” - that is when the journey really begins. You will be greeted with numerous hair-pin bends, incredibly smooth tarmac, some incredible views and last but not least, 60mph speed limits throughout.
After emptying half a tank in 45 minutes of driving up and down, we decided to let the car cool down while we refill ourselves with some incredible food from the very conveniently situated and Restaurant / Pub named “The Beachy Head” which also happens to have incredible views. Lunch was now over, car was ready to go and so we hit the road once again, making leaps towards New Forest, hugging the coastline, admiring the natural beauty and the incredible roads.
